Speaker B:What time is it?
Speaker B:Who is it?
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:I.
Speaker B:Situation Green Squishy pops Sorry, honey.
Speaker B:I have to take this.
Speaker B:It is October 31st.
Speaker B:We are standing in the doorway, the open doorway of Perlisle White's Dentistry in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Speaker B:And by we, I, of course, just mean Agent Paris and Agent Ryan.
Speaker B:Because for all they know, the other half of their team is somewhere in the offices apprentice in the far back, maybe with Dr.
Speaker B:Perlisle.
Speaker B:And as you scan about in this waiting area that I described previously, you see Agent Kane there, face down on the floor.
Speaker B:Floor itself is covered with blood.
Speaker B:Some sort of black ichor.
Speaker B:Some of that ichor is splattered against the walls.
Speaker B:And again, the lights are turned off now.
Speaker B:Parrish, you're in front.
Speaker B:Have your M4 at the ready.
Speaker B:Looking down your line of sight.
Speaker B:Ryan, you've just taken in the gruesome scenery here.
Speaker B:You've kind of shaken it off, but you have no idea what the hell happened up here.
Speaker A:What the hell happened up here?
Speaker C:I knew you were going to do that.
Speaker D:Perfect.
Speaker A:I mean, was there any other response?
Speaker C:No, there is no with the exact right response.
Speaker D:Paris looks back to see if Ryan has a gun drawn of some kind.
Speaker A:I do.
Speaker D:Good.
Speaker D:Keep.
Speaker D:Keep your gun ready.
Speaker D:And Paris moves over to Kane to see.
Speaker D:To check her vitals.
Speaker A:What did this?
Speaker D:Something not human.
Speaker D:Just keep your eyes open.
Speaker B:Go ahead and roll your alertness.
Speaker B:Paris.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:That is a three out of 52.
Speaker D:That is a success.
Speaker B:You scan the room immediately, ensuring that there is nothing in the small waiting area before you slowly make your way towards the prostrate form of Agent Kane, now kneeling over her with your gun pointed in the general direction of the closed door that adjoins the the back dentist offices and the clear glass that leads to where the receptionist was originally sitting.
Speaker B:You place your fingers on Agent Kane's neck.
Speaker B:Go ahead and roll your first aid.
Speaker D:I failed.
Speaker D:73 out of 10.
Speaker A:Can you roll his second aid?
Speaker D:I've got a third aid.
Speaker B:You ate it up.
Speaker B:Got all the aids.
Speaker A:So unintended.
Speaker A:That's so good.
Speaker B:You don't feel a pulse and a knot begins to form the pit of your stomach.
Speaker B:Roll your sanity.
Speaker D:Although does it help that I'm adapted to violence?
Speaker B:This is helplessness.
Speaker D:Oh, it's helplessness.
Speaker D:Oh, one more.
Speaker D:Then I get.
Speaker D:I get.
Speaker D:Then I'm adapted to helplessness, too.
Speaker D:I guess I'm having a bad.
Speaker A:Pretty adaptable.
Speaker D:I got a question mark out of three question marks.
Speaker D:Critical.
Speaker B:Success.
Speaker B:Got it.
Speaker B:Would you like to project any Potential loss on a bond.
Speaker D:In this case, I will.
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker B:Okay, it's a 1.
Speaker D:D4.
Speaker D:Got a 2.
Speaker B:So if you would do me the favor of subtracting two from your willpower and two from a bond of your choice.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker A:Don't do it.
Speaker B:What does that take you down to?
Speaker D:I've got 11 out of 13 willpower.
Speaker B:Ah, you're.
Speaker B:You're good.
Speaker B:And who's taking the hit?
Speaker B:Who are you going to mark down as somebody?
Speaker B:If you survive?
Speaker B:Who's going to have an effect here?
Speaker D:Jeffrey harbor is down to one now.
Speaker B:Yikes.
Speaker D:Yep.
Speaker D:It's not going to go well.
Speaker B:You swallow hard, and for a moment, your eyes tear away from where they're so steadily fixed on the door and on the glass divider.
Speaker B:And you look down at Agent Cain, who's again, face.
Speaker B:Face first on the floor.
Speaker B:She's not moving.
Speaker B:And you think to yourself that you failed.
Speaker B:You failed her and you failed the team.
Speaker B:And you're not sure exactly what to say.
Speaker B:Ryan's right behind you.
Speaker B:He breaks the silence.
Speaker A:Hey, we gotta.
Speaker A:We gotta keep moving.
Speaker D:Uh, yeah.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker A:Get up.
Speaker D:Shit.
Speaker A:You're.
Speaker D:You're.
Speaker A:You're the big gun.
Speaker D:Hey, man, Kane is.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah, we gotta keep moving.
Speaker D:Okay?
Speaker D:Look, there's.
Speaker D:There's.
Speaker D:There's something.
Speaker D:I didn't see it come out the front door.
Speaker D:There's something very, very dangerous here.
Speaker D:Okay, where.
Speaker D:Hey, where is.
Speaker D:Where's Prentice?
Speaker D:Where is he at?
Speaker D:Why isn't he with you?
Speaker D:Where is he?
Speaker A:He was in the office with the doctor, but the doctor passed out or died.
Speaker A:You could describe it as dying, but maybe he isn't dead.
Speaker A:Prentice seemed to freak the fuck out.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:I don't know where he is.
Speaker A:I guess he's still back in that office.
Speaker A:So this thing is in this house somewhere.
Speaker A:It's not here.
Speaker A:We can't let it get loose, though.
Speaker D:So we need to get to Prentice.
Speaker D:Look, Paris looks at, like, the.
Speaker D:The door, the.
Speaker D:It's closed now.
Speaker D:The door that goes up the hallway, is that right towards.
Speaker D:Okay, that's right.
Speaker D:Was it closed when I ran out the front door?
Speaker B:So this door, it's already established it has a pneumatic closer on it.
Speaker B:So it's been closing by itself whenever somebody doesn't prop it open.
Speaker D:I look to see, are there claw marks on this door from a giant monster, say, pushing its way through?
Speaker B:You do not see any indication of damage to the door, Ryan?
Speaker D:All right, follow me.
Speaker D:Paris pushes through the door and starts heading towards the office or says, like, hey, Ryan, show me where the office is so we can get Prentice.
Speaker B:You open the door.
Speaker B:You're in for held with your right hand as your left pushes it in.
Speaker B:And you start slowly and smoothly walking your way through now darkin office towards the back room.
Speaker B:To your left are those three dentist chairs.
Speaker B:Everything is now shadowed, dark.
Speaker B:Ryan follows close behind you.
Speaker B:Before long, you're both at the closed door, and it becomes clear to you as you try to open it that there is something on the other side.
Speaker B:Something extremely heavy propped up against the door.
Speaker B:It won't budge.
Speaker A:Ryan's gonna raise his voice and say, prentiss, Prentice, you in there and listening intently.
Speaker D:Prentice, Parrish.
Speaker B:You hear clicking coming from the hallway that you passed.
Speaker B:Sounds exactly like that teeth chattering that you heard moments ago.
Speaker D:Paris grabs Ryan and pushes him back towards the door and gets.
Speaker D:Points his gut at the.
Speaker D:At that hallway and starts backing up and says, ryan, get.
Speaker D:Get back.
Speaker B:Ryan, go ahead and roll your alertness.
Speaker A:Success.
Speaker A:26 out of a target 40.
Speaker B:You definitely heard something too.
Speaker B:It sounded kind of like an insect chatter, even though you were yelling.
Speaker A:And I didn't hear anything from within the office.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker D:Okay, Paris is backing towards.
Speaker D:You're kind of like in motion, trying to back towards the.
Speaker D:The back door.
Speaker B:Okay, remember, the back door is down that hallway.
Speaker D:Oh, oh, down the hallway where I'm hearing the clicking sounds.
Speaker B:So behind you is the storage room.
Speaker B:To your left is the closed door to the office.
Speaker B:You're looking back down towards the entrance right now.
Speaker B:And to your left, further down, is that hallway that leads to the staircase, the back door and bathrooms.
Speaker D:Mm, Gotcha.
Speaker D:Okay, in that case, I say we.
Speaker A:Just straight shot towards the front door then.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah, let's.
Speaker D:Let's try to get to the front door.
Speaker D:Maybe we can get around the back to find Prentiss.
Speaker D:Start cautiously moving, moving towards the back, towards the reception area.
Speaker A:Ryan follows.
Speaker B:Both of you go ahead and roll your dodge as you pass by the hallway.
Speaker D:Oh, I failed.
Speaker D:61 out of 34.
Speaker A:I too failed.
Speaker A:70 out of 50.
Speaker B:You both very slowly and cautiously make your way back to the now closed door that leads to the waiting area.
Speaker B:And as you pass the darkened hallway that Ryan, you know leads to the back door and contains the stairway up to the second story.
Speaker B:Out of the periphery of your vision, from what appeared to be an empty, dark hallway leading to that same back door, something snaps out of the darkness.
Speaker B:A flash of putrid talents.
Speaker B:Shadowed sinew.
Speaker B:It rakes across your necks and shoulders with a horrid strength.
Speaker B:Ryan, you stagger away from the hallway, almost stumbling into.
Speaker B:Into the.
Speaker B:The dentist chair itself.
Speaker B:But you stay upright.
Speaker B:Your suit is in rags.
Speaker B:You don't feel pain from your shoulder, but something hits you, something incredibly sharp and powerful.
Speaker B:Paris.
Speaker B:You feel these putrid talons that you're familiar with rake against your face and your neck and you stumble away as well.
Speaker B:You turn and you raise the barrel of your M4 as quickly as you can towards the darkened hallway.
Speaker B:There's nothing there.
Speaker B:We're gonna go into combat now.
Speaker D:Oh, shit.
Speaker B:Ryan.
Speaker B:You were almost pushed back by this flailing something into this dentist chair.
Speaker B:You've turned to face what it was, but you don't see anything in that darkened hallway.
Speaker B:You have your gun gripped tightly in your hand, so you're.
Speaker B:You're breathing heavily.
Speaker B:Something just attacked you.
Speaker B:You don't think it broke the skin, but it was almost like being pushed or bludgeoned a bit.
Speaker B:You were almost knocked off your feet.
Speaker B:You don't see anything though.
Speaker A:So I got pushed relative to me.
Speaker A:Where did that force retreat to?
Speaker A:Behind me.
Speaker B:It came from the darkened hallway that leads to the back door.
Speaker B:But you don't see anything in the frame.
Speaker B:The door frame.
Speaker A:Okay, I am going to back towards the front door and shoot.
Speaker A:Not like manic rapid fire, but like a shot kind of in the middle space of that area.
Speaker B:You're going to fire basically through the center of the door.
Speaker B:The open door.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:There's no door, but.
Speaker B:Right, the door frame.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Go ahead and roll your firearms.
Speaker A:You roll your firearms.
Speaker A:Me?
Speaker A:Failure 84 out of a target 62.
Speaker B:You go to fire.
Speaker B:The recoil is significant.
Speaker B:You're used to it now, as much as you can be.
Speaker B:Of course, the report is extremely loud and you start making your way as quickly as you can to the closed door leading to the waiting area.
Speaker B:You're now at the door.
Speaker A:I will open the door.
Speaker B:Well, maybe next time.
Speaker B:It's now somebody else's turn.
Speaker B:Could it be Chris?
Speaker B:Oh, that's not very good, Paris.
Speaker B:You were pushed back as well.
Speaker B:Your M4 brought to bear to the empty door frame.
Speaker B:Something huge drops down from the ceiling, lands on the linoleum floor with a scrape and a slap.
Speaker B:It's much quieter than it should be.
Speaker B:Almost like a cat landing on all four feet from very high up.
Speaker B:Even in the relative dark of this part of the office, you can make out the long, gaunt, spindly form of what attacked you and Kane in the front waiting area.
Speaker B:It is now very close to the floor, almost hugging it with its strange spider like arms in a grotesque Pose its elbows and hind legs, the joints bent in a way that they really shouldn't be.
Speaker B:It's confusing looking to you.
Speaker B:And it begins moving across the floor again, its belly hugging the floor at a frightening pace.
Speaker B:Parrish, you can fire.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah, No, I think.
Speaker D:I think Parrish is going to pull the trigger fully, automatically.
Speaker D:Just gonna unload.
Speaker D:Sure.
Speaker D:It feels like that's what you would do in this situation, just fire everything.
Speaker A:That's definitely what a Marine would do.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yes, you're right.
Speaker D:Okay, so firearms first, right, Chris?
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:You need to roll your skill first to see if you land damage.
Speaker D:All right, 43 out of 67.
Speaker D:So success.
Speaker D:That's awesome.
Speaker A:Oh, oh, oh.
Speaker D:So it says lethal in red, and then a one.
Speaker D:So I don't.
Speaker D:What is.
Speaker B:Jesus Christ.
Speaker D:Ryan sounds excited.
Speaker A:This has never happened.
Speaker D:Ryan's gonna need to change of pants after this.
Speaker A:So is Michael.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker D:Wait.
Speaker D:Hey, Chris, before you play this out, though, can you just make sure that at some point, this thing gets an arm inside of Ryan?
Speaker D:Just wiggles it around a little bit.
Speaker C:Leaves a little fingernail behind.
Speaker B:It does.
Speaker B:It does.
Speaker B:It does want to do that.
Speaker B:So we'll see.
Speaker A:I bet it does.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:As long as Ryan gets.
Speaker A:I got body armor now.
Speaker A:Extra tight, if you know what I mean.
Speaker B:Yikes.
Speaker A:Hard to get inside of.
Speaker B:So you let loose with the full power of the sim 4 as this thing skitters across the ground, squeezing through the door frame, then splaying back out.
Speaker B:It's a large target, and you're backing up as you continue to fire at this thing until your mag is empty.
Speaker B:You hear your M4 click.
Speaker B:You have think filled this thing with nearly every bullet that was in your magazine.
Speaker B:And you see splotches of black blood explode all over its mottled, putrid hide.
Speaker B:But it does not stop.
Speaker D:Well, I did my best.
Speaker D:And for once, can.
Speaker D:They have, like a.
Speaker D:Like a beautiful, shimmering, iridescent hide.
Speaker A:It's Icarus mottled and John rotting in.
Speaker B:A Icarus headlong kamikaze charge.
Speaker B:As you empty your gun into it, it skitters across the linoleum floor, jumps up at you, and bites into your chest.
Speaker C:So now it's mad.
Speaker B:Yes, I would say so.
Speaker B:Its large canine head is whirring and snapping and tearing at your chest as you stumble backwards.
Speaker B:Paris.
Speaker D:Yummy.
Speaker B:What would you like to do with your turn?
Speaker A:Wasn't that his turn?
Speaker D:Oh, I thought that was me shooting me.
Speaker B:I had you aimed at the doorway, ready to fire no matter what came through.
Speaker B:So the moment that thing Dropped down.
Speaker B:You just let loose with your gun.
Speaker B:And so this was all during its turn.
Speaker B:So it ran into what was an aimed weapon.
Speaker B:Bear down on it.
Speaker B:That was fully automatic and filled it maybe with lead.
Speaker B:As it skittered towards you, it jumped on your chest and now it's biting into your clothes, your back.
Speaker B:It's very heavy.
Speaker B:So you're stumbling backwards as it did this, head on charge.
Speaker B:What would you like to do at this point, Paris?
Speaker D:Paris is going to try to break.
Speaker B:It doesn't have you pinned right now.
Speaker B:If you want, if you want to do something to it.
Speaker D:I will dodge then, I guess.
Speaker B:So you're now going to kind of do your best to get the fuck away from this thing.
Speaker B:If it tries to continue to attack you or swing at you or do anything to you, I'm going to try to dodge anything it throws your way.
Speaker B:Go ahead and roll.
Speaker D:All right, that's an ada.
Speaker B:That's pretty fucking good.
Speaker D:Awesome.
Speaker B:All right, cool.
Speaker B:Ryan, you see this thing move impossibly fast along the ground.
Speaker B:The entire room is lit up as a spray of bullets flies out of Paris's rifle.
Speaker B:You can see the thing just brush it off like it's nothing.
Speaker B:And continues again on this headlong assault towards Paris.
Speaker B:It jumps onto his chest and begins biting at him as he staggers backwards.
Speaker B:What do you do?
Speaker A:So I'm like at the door.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:And upon reaching the door, realize that it opens towards me and I assume isn't doing so automatically.
Speaker B:I mean, you can open the door towards you.
Speaker A:Oh, I thought that.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker B:And run through.
Speaker A:I do that.
Speaker B:Okay, cool.
Speaker B:You open the door and you run through into the blood soaked waiting area.
Speaker A:And I, I, I continue towards the outside door as far as I'm able to.
Speaker B:You are now in the doorway of the dentist's office.
Speaker B:The sounds of a great scuffle, the clicking of massive jaws fading behind you.
Speaker B:Ooh.
Speaker B:This thing rears its head up and slams down its jaws onto your right arm.
Speaker B:Paris, you can feel your arm get crushed between what must be an incredible, incredible jaw strength.
Speaker B:You hear a snap from your arm and you see blood well out from it.
Speaker B:Its giant jaws are now locked down on your right arm.
Speaker B:You are still not pinned, but its head is very large and very close to your own face.
Speaker B:Its strange black eyes stare up at you as it grinds its teeth against your arm.
Speaker B:You feel things breaking and splintering and snapping as it does so.
Speaker C:Goodbye, arm wrestling championship.
Speaker B:Ouch.
Speaker B:It is your turn, Paris.
Speaker D:Cool.
Speaker D:Well, I am going to jam my fingers into its Eye sockets.
Speaker B:So you're going to attack it with unarmed.
Speaker D:With the.
Speaker D:Well, yes, the singular.
Speaker D:Specifically unarmed.
Speaker B:Plus 20% to your skill.
Speaker D:Becoming a theme.
Speaker D:Plunk.
Speaker D:18 out of 80.
Speaker B:Roll your damage.
Speaker D:Let's get some.
Speaker D:I want to feel those pops.
Speaker B:Hell yeah, dude.
Speaker D:1D4.
Speaker B:Very nice.
Speaker B:So you.
Speaker B:You did as good as you can.
Speaker B:Well done.
Speaker D:So I want squishy pops.
Speaker B:This thing is again holding on and worrying, grinding your right arm between its boulder like teeth.
Speaker B:And you take your left thumb and stab it into its overly large eye socket into one of those disgusting black pearls.
Speaker B:And you hear it just create a almost comical sound as it bursts an actual pop.
Speaker B:Black aqueous humor, if we can even call it that, begins to pour out of the eye socket.
Speaker B:The thing's mouth immediately releases your now crushed and ruined arm.
Speaker B:And you see its right hand and claw, which has broken talons on it that are dripping more black ichor, move up to its now ruined eye and sort of scrape and paw against it as it stumbles backwards now on its full hind legs and at its full height, it starts clicking and clacking.
Speaker B:And you hear sort of a sad whine emerging from its terrible, sinewy, gaunt chest.
Speaker B:Ryan, you are standing half in, half out from the rain.
Speaker B:What do you do?
Speaker A:Continue to run?
Speaker A:I will run the opposite side, opposite way around the house that I came from.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker A:Because I think directionally, spatially, I would know, like, oh, that's the doctor's office side.
Speaker A:See if there's like a window or something that makes sense.
Speaker B:You're trying to.
Speaker A:I'm going to check in to the office.
Speaker B:Through windows, to the office.
Speaker B:Got it?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You, you.
Speaker B:You know how to run in that direction?
Speaker B:You run around the house.
Speaker B:Go ahead and roll your athletics.
Speaker B:I assume you're sprinting for dear life.
Speaker A:I am.
Speaker A:As a success.
Speaker A:10 out of a target.
Speaker A:51.
Speaker B:With singular focus, you sprint through the rain alongside the other side of the house until you are right in front of the doctor's office.
Speaker B:The window is completely broken.
Speaker B:It's broken out from the inside.
Speaker B:There's glass all over the hedges and the grass.
Speaker B:Here you see blood, trail of blood, bloody handprints on the windowsill itself.
Speaker B:Yikes.
Speaker A:I don't run into Apprentice.
Speaker B:No, you do not.
Speaker B:All right, it is now the receptionist's turn.
Speaker A:We're still calling her the receptionist.
Speaker D:Oh, one eye, the receptionist.
Speaker D:Get me that other eye.
Speaker B:Shit.
Speaker B:That's so fucked up.
Speaker B:Are you going to keep going for the eyes?
Speaker B:I love it.
Speaker D:Yeah, it just depends on what happens.
Speaker B:Hold On a second.
Speaker B:Let me look at all the spells and abilities this thing has because it is not doing well.
Speaker D:I didn't mean to say spells.
Speaker D:We could just leave that part out.
Speaker B:The awful grating whine continues as its teeth also clack together sickeningly.
Speaker B:It continues to fruitlessly scratch at its ruined eye.
Speaker B:And it's going to lunge towards you almost blindly and.
Speaker D:And without depth perception, without.
Speaker B:Without any.
Speaker B:Any focus.
Speaker B:See how it does.
Speaker B:So it, with its good left arm still fully clawed with long putrid talons, rakes the air blindly but in your direction as the whine continues.
Speaker B:It is your turn again, Paris.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:All right, let me take stock here.
Speaker D:I have a destroyed right arm, I assume, just sort of dangling there with bits of bone and flesh just kind of popping around.
Speaker B:It doesn't look good.
Speaker B:You still have your.
Speaker B:You're wearing a long sleeve outfit, so it's just this ragged, kind of limp, bloody mess.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's not really working the way you'd like it to.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker D:And by that you mean like it's not working at all.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I would assume if you want.
Speaker B:To try to use it, it will be a roll of some sort.
Speaker D:Well, man, can't Paris just pop a bunch of pain pills and it'll be.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker D:Yeah, match potion then.
Speaker D:He's also not holding his gun, which means it must be on the floor because he just uses one good hand to slam that through the good old eye socket of this thing.
Speaker B:No, the gun is still in your ruined right hand.
Speaker B:You're gripping onto it for dear life.
Speaker D:Oh, good God almighty.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Holy shit, this guy's hardcore.
Speaker B:Yep, he's a SOCOM Marine Raider.
Speaker D:I don't think I would be correct if I'm wrong, but I don't know if I could reload this thing in three seconds with one hand.
Speaker B:It would be a roll.
Speaker B:Do you want to.
Speaker B:Is that what you want to do with your turn?
Speaker D:Jesus Christ.
Speaker D:No, I think I'm going to go after Ryan.
Speaker D:Unless.
Speaker D:Let me think about this.
Speaker D:I unloaded an entire clip into the.
Speaker D:This thing and it's still.
Speaker D:It was.
Speaker B:It ran through the hill of gunfire which should have cut a man in half like it was mosquitoes and jumped on your chest.
Speaker D:I'm going to head towards the door that Ryan went through as quickly as I can.
Speaker B:You start booking it out of here.

Speaker B:And for a moment, it just stops moving, standing on its hind legs, its arms sort of frozen in this bizarre, shaking, quivering rictus.
Speaker B:And you realize as some of the smoke dissipates from the launcher, you realize the thing's head is no longer attached to its shoulders.
Speaker B:It pitches forward with all of its weight, all of its bulk, and it slams against the closing door, closes the door even faster with a loud crashing sound on the other side.

Speaker B:And here on the second story, the hallway that the staircase leads to is itself quite narrow as well.

Speaker B:Now that you're on the second story, you can hear very clearly that somebody is using a drill of some sort behind it.
Speaker D:Paris walks up and, well, looking at the door.

Speaker B:It has a outward latch on it like a brace.
Speaker B:And apparently this is normally padlocked, but the padlock is currently off this latch and on the ground.
Speaker B:So the door does open outwardly towards you, and there's a brace in place, but it's just not locked.
Speaker D:Paris, if he's able to, you know, kick the door open for the quote unquote element of surprise, that's the way he's gonna go for it.

Speaker B:Across the room at one of the workbenches is a man seated on a stool, his back to you.
Speaker B:He doesn't even bother to turn around when this incredibly loud noise occurs behind him.
Speaker B:He remains studiously focused on whatever he's doing.
Speaker B:He's got a very small drill, one of his hands, and he seems to be working on something.
Speaker B:There are several magnifying glasses and lenses arranged on the workbench to help him with whatever he's doing.
Speaker B:There's a few posters on the wall behind him that look like electronic documents.
Speaker B:Even from here, you can see his hair is wild and unkempt, and he's got a patna of sweat that's gathered on his back and under his arms in whatever clothes that he's obviously been wearing for many, many days.

Speaker B:You receive a phone call as you start looking through the office for things that are easily lit on fire.
